Job Description
The Speech Language Pathologist provides evaluations, screenings, and therapy services for children across all age groups within the Special Education program.
Demonstrates expertise in language development, assessment, and interventions.
Develops individualized plans, adapts strategies for classroom and home settings, and models developmentally appropriate practices.
Collaborates with staff to implement IEPs, prepares therapy sessions, and ensures inclusive programming.
Provides therapy, conducts evaluations, and offers training to staff and families on communication tools.
Travels to community sites and documents child progress and behavior accurately.
Supports child transitions, participates in meetings, and contributes to committee activities.
Supervises CFY candidates, offers service coordination, and engages in ongoing professional development.
