Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to join our dynamic team in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in emergency medicine, demonstrating the ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute medical conditions. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
*Duties*
* Provide immediate medical attention to patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries.
* Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and triage.
* Utilize EHR systems and EMR systems for accurate documentation of patient care.
* Interpret medical imaging results and collaborate with radiology for diagnostic purposes.
* Administer treatments, including IV infusions, airway management, and suturing.
* Manage critical care situations, including trauma cases and cardiac emergencies.
* Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient management.
* Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance emergency care practices.
* Educate patients on health coaching, discharge planning, and follow-up care.
* Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
*Qualifications*
* Medical degree from an accredited institution and completion of residency in Emergency Medicine.
* Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine is preferred.
* Experience in critical care medicine, trauma medicine, or pediatric emergency medicine is advantageous.
* Proficiency in using EHR systems such as Epic for patient documentation.
* Familiarity with various medical specialties including cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology, and psychiatry is a plus.
* Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures related to emergency care.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of patient service.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $150.00 – $165.00 per hour
