Job Description

The Substance Abuse Counselor (LCAS, LCAS-A, CCS) provides confidential addiction counseling, education, and support to individuals, families, and the community to promote healthy lifestyles and choices.

  • Conducts assessments, develops treatment plans, and supports patients in meeting treatment goals.
  • Offers individual, family, and group counseling on addiction causes, effects, and treatment options.
  • Assists with resource navigation, employment, education, and rebuilding relationships.
  • Maintains accurate records, adheres to confidentiality laws, and collaborates with community partners.
  • Provides educational workshops and community outreach, especially targeting high-risk populations.

  • This full-time role requires relevant licensure/certification, with a preference for experience in SUD. Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), and paid time off. COVID-19 precautions and in-person work are required.
