Job Description

The Substance Abuse Counselor (LCAS, LCAS-A, CCS) provides confidential addiction counseling, education, and support to individuals, families, and the community to promote healthy lifestyles and choices.

  • Offers individual, family, and group counseling on addiction causes and effects, including support and referrals to treatment.
  • Conducts comprehensive assessments, aids in treatment planning, and helps clients identify goals and resources.
  • Provides community education, workshops, and collaborates with other agencies to enhance services.
  • Maintains accurate documentation, adheres to confidentiality laws, and follows policies and procedures.
  • Works with high-risk populations, assists with resource access, and promotes recovery and wellness.

This full-time role includes benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and requires relevant licensure and at least one year of SUD experience. Work is conducted in person, with COVID-19 safety protocols in place.
