Job Description
The ACT Program Therapist provides community-based mental health services to adults with serious mental illness, delivering individual therapy, crisis intervention, and recovery support as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Essential duties include conducting clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapy in various settings. They coordinate care with partners, support skill-building, monitor progress, and provide crisis support.
Qualifications involve master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field, licensure or eligibility, and experience working with SMI clients. Strong communication, empathy, and knowledge of evidence-based approaches are essential.
