We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Diagnostic Radiologist for a 100-day locum tenens assignment at a hospital in Kentucky. Starting 08/01/2025, this opportunity offers weekday shifts from 8a-5p with some night/weekend call coverage. The radiologist will be responsible for interpreting a mix of general and cardiac cases, including ultrasounds, MRIs, nuclear medicine, PET, fetal imaging, and CT neuro studies. Responsibilities and Duties:
• Interpret pediatric general and cardiac radiological studies
• Perform and interpret ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, PET, fetal imaging, and CT neuro examinations
• Provide on-call coverage for emergency cases
• Collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Epic EMR
• Adhere to all hospital policies and radiology best practices
• Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling and assignment duration
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
Additional Information:
• Kentucky or Indiana state medical license required
• Experience in pediatric diagnostic radiology with a focus on general and cardiac cases
• Comfort with varied shift schedules, including nights and weekends
• Proficiency in Epic EMR system
