Job Description
Seeking a full-time APP to join a nephrology team, collaborating with nephrologists to provide comprehensive care across clinic, inpatient, and dialysis settings.
Assess, diagnose, and manage kidney diseases through history, exams, tests, and individualized treatment plans, including medications and lifestyle counseling.
See patients in outpatient clinics for chronic kidney disease, hypertension, and related conditions.
Perform inpatient rounds to evaluate and manage acute kidney injuries and electrolyte disorders, collaborating with physicians.
Conduct weekly dialysis rounds, address complications, and coordinate with dialysis staff.
Educate patients and families on disease management, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications include current licensure as NP or PA in Kentucky, certification in Adult or Family Practice or NCCPA, with nephrology or dialysis experience preferred. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required. Relocation to Harlan, KY is necessary before starting.
