Job Description

This is a locum Nurse Practitioner role in Cardiothoracic Surgery in Lexington, KY, offering competitive weekly pay and immediate start.

We seek a certified NP with experience in first assisting cardiac and thoracic surgeries, including procedures like CABG, AVR, MVR, thoracotomy, and lung resection.

The role involves OR assists, vein harvests, chest tube placements, managing patients in telemetry and ICU, inpatient rounds, and weekend surgical coverage.

The schedule includes 1–2 call days per week and one weekend per month, with an ASAP start date once credentialed.

Requirements include board certification, active KY NP license, ACLS & BLS, strong procedural skills, ICU experience, and a clean malpractice history.
