Job Description

Seeking a licensed emergency medicine physician for a facility in Rosebud, SD, with a start date in one month.


  • Requirements include a current CV with all recent employment gaps explained, three references, U.S. citizenship or Green Card, and recent work within six months.
  • Housing is provided by the facility.
  • Privileging involves a 6-week timeline with necessary health docs (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tetanus, PPD, Flu) and certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS), plus background check and fingerprinting.
  • Board certification or eligibility in ABEM required.
  • EMR system: RPMS; license accepted from any state.
  • Patient census is approximately 0.8-0.9 per hour; facility features a 20-bed capacity, supported by RN and MSA staff.
  • Flexible work schedule: 7 on/7 off or 14 on/14 off, with shifts from 7am-7pm, 8am-8pm, or 7pm-7am, totaling 7-14 shifts per month.
  • Position can be full-time, part-time, or contract, with in-person work in Rosebud, SD. Relocation prior to start is preferred.
