Job Description
The Emergency Room Nurse Manager position is a full-time, permanent role based outside of Ottumwa, IA.
Responsible for overseeing daily ED operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and resource management. Supervises and coordinates nursing staff, manages staffing, patient flow, and departmental efficiency. Promotes evidence-based clinical practices, supports staff development, and responds to emergency situations. Ensures compliance with hospital policies, regulations, and quality standards, while leading quality improvement initiatives. Manages budgets, supplies, and interdepartmental collaboration, participating in hospital leadership activities. Qualifications include: BSN required, RN licensure, 3–5 years emergency nursing experience, supervisory experience preferred, and relevant certifications.
Salary ranges from $90,000 to $115,000 annually.
