Job Description
We are hiring full-time Speech Language Pathologists for a private special needs school in Rocky Hill, CT, serving children with Autism and related neurological differences.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with parents, teachers, and administrators on assessments, interventions, and therapy services
- Analyzing assessment results and developing IEP goals
- Implementing research-based therapy techniques
- Evaluating oral motor and feeding skills, providing parent training
- Creating individualized and small group services across various settings
- Documenting student progress and managing Medicaid documentation
- Supervising SLPAs and CFs as needed
Qualifications and skills:
- Experience working with students with autism and related disorders
- Knowledge of motor-based learning approaches for apraxia
- Proficiency with AAC and assistive technology training
