Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Description

We are hiring full-time Speech Language Pathologists for a private special needs school in Rocky Hill, CT, serving children with Autism and related neurological differences.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with parents, teachers, and administrators on assessments, interventions, and therapy services
• Analyzing assessment results and developing IEP goals
• Implementing research-based therapy techniques
• Evaluating oral motor and feeding skills, providing parent training
• Creating individualized and small group services across various settings
• Documenting student progress and managing Medicaid documentation
• Supervising SLPAs and CFs as needed

Qualifications and skills:

• Experience working with students with autism and related disorders
• Knowledge of motor-based learning approaches for apraxia
• Proficiency with AAC and assistive technology training
