CRNA Job Details – San Antonio Healthcare Jobs
- Position Type: Locum tenens CRNA (Contract)
- Location: San Antonio, Texas
- Contract Length: 6 months
- Start Date: January 5, 2026 (after credentialing)
- Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days
- Shifts per Week: 4
- Shift Duration: Two 12-hour shifts and two 10-hour shifts (44 hours/week)
- Surgical Cases: Orthopedic, Urology, General Surgery, GI, Gynecology
- Medical Direction: Yes
- Electronic Medical Record: Cerner EMR
CRNA Qualifications – Texas Nursing Jobs
- Active Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) license in Texas
- Minimum 1 year of acute care CRNA experience
- Clinical experience with orthopedic, urology, general, GI, and gynecology anesthesia cases
- Ability to float between multiple hospital locations in San Antonio
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
CRNA Responsibilities – Healthcare Team Support
- Administer general anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and surgical teams under medical direction
- Float between hospital facilities in San Antonio, Texas
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout perioperative care
- Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR
- Participate in orientation at designated hub location on the first day
