Job Description

The role is for an Internal Medicine Physician (MD or DO) licensed in California, serving as a 1099 independent contractor at a residential eating disorder treatment center in Monterey.

  • Provide in-person medical assessments, follow-ups, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Manage labs, medications, and address medical issues; support psychiatric and nursing staff.
  • Participate in medical rounds, treatment planning, and documentation; be available for emergencies.
  • Travel to Monterey and Santa Barbara locations twice monthly.
  • Requirements include active CA license, DEA registration, liability insurance, and experience in behavioral health preferred.
  • Compensation ranges from $14,000 to $17,000 monthly, with per-visit rates and a monthly administrative stipend.
  • Part-time, on-site position, 5–10 hours weekly.
