Internal Medicine Physician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician (MD or DO) licensed in California to join as a 1099 contractor at our residential eating disorder treatment centers in Monterey.

Provide in-person medical assessments, follow-ups, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Order and interpret labs, manage medications, and support psychiatric and nursing staff.

Participate in medical rounds, emergency coverage, and documentation in electronic health records.

Travel twice monthly between Monterey and Santa Barbara locations.

Requirements include an active CA license, DEA registration, experience in behavioral health preferred, and professional liability insurance.

Compensation is $250 per initial visit, $125 per follow-up, with a $1,500 monthly administrative stipend per facility. Expected hours are 5-10 per week, with no virtual component.
