Internal Medicine Physician

Job Description

Seeking an Internal Medicine Physician (MD or DO) licensed in California for a 1099 contract role at a residential eating disorder treatment center in Monterey.

**Responsibilities:**
– Conduct initial assessments and follow-ups
– Participate in treatment planning
– Manage labs, medications, and medical issues
– Support psychiatric and nursing staff
– Complete documentation and be available for urgent consultations
– Attend medical rounds and collaborate with leadership

**Requirements:**
– Unrestricted CA license and active DEA
– Experience with eating disorders or behavioral health preferred
– Ability to travel to Monterey and Santa Barbara twice monthly
– Professional liability insurance
– Strong communication skills and team-oriented approach

**Compensation:**
– $250 per initial visit, $125 per follow-up
– $1,500 monthly facility stipend
– Expected 5-10 hours/week, no virtual work
