Job Description

Seeking an Internal Medicine Physician (MD or DO) licensed in California for a 1099 independent contractor role at a residential eating disorder treatment center in Monterey.

  • Provide in-person medical assessments, follow-ups, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Manage labs, medications, and address medical issues; support psychiatric and nursing staff.
  • Participate in medical rounds, documentation, and emergency coverage during scheduled days.
  • Travel twice monthly to Monterey and Santa Barbara locations required.

    • Qualifications include a valid CA license, active DEA registration, and experience in behavioral health preferred. Compensation is approximately $14,000–$17,000/month for 5–10 hours/week, with per-visit pay and administrative stipends. This is an on-site role with no virtual component.
