Seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician (MD or DO) licensed in California for a 1099 independent contractor role at a residential eating disorder treatment center in Monterey.
Provide in-person medical assessments, follow-ups, and collaborate on treatment planning. Order labs, manage medications, and support clinical staff. Participate in medical rounds, handle urgent consultations, and document in electronic health records. Available for emergencies during scheduled days and willing to travel twice monthly to Santa Barbara. Requires active California license, DEA registration, liability insurance, and preferably experience with eating disorders or behavioral health. Compensation includes $250 per initial visit, $125 per follow-up, and $1,500 monthly facility stipend, with 5-10 hours weekly. This is an in-person role with no virtual component.
