Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician (MD or DO) licensed in California to join our multidisciplinary team as a 1099 independent contractor at our Monterey residential treatment center for eating disorders.


  • Provide in-person medical assessments, follow-ups, and collaborative treatment planning.
  • Order and interpret labs, manage medications, and address medical issues.
  • Support psychiatrists and nursing staff with clinical expertise.
  • Complete timely documentation and participate in medical rounds.
  • Be available for emergencies during scheduled days and travel twice monthly to Santa Barbara.

    • Requirements include an active CA medical license, DEA registration, experience with behavioral health or eating disorders preferred, and professional liability insurance. Compensation ranges from $14,000 to $17,000 monthly for 5-10 hours/week, with salary based on visits and stipends. This is an on-site role with no virtual work.
