Job Description

Seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician (MD or DO) licensed in California for a 1099 contract role at a residential eating disorder treatment center in Monterey.

Provide in-person medical assessments, follow-ups, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Manage labs, medications, and address medical issues, supporting psychiatrists and nursing staff.

Participate in medical rounds, documentation, and emergency consultations.

Travel twice monthly to Monterey and Santa Barbara locations.

Qualifications: Active CA license, DEA registration, experience in behavioral health preferred, liability insurance, strong communication skills.

Compensation: $250 per initial visit, $125 per follow-up, $1,500/month stipend per facility.

Expectations: 5-10 hours/week, on-site work only, with no virtual component.
