Internal Medicine Physician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician (MD or DO) licensed in California to join our multidisciplinary team as a 1099 independent contractor at our residential eating disorder treatment centers in Monterey and Santa Barbara.

The role involves conducting initial assessments, follow-up visits, participating in treatment planning, managing labs and medications, supporting clinical staff, and providing emergency coverage during scheduled days.

Qualifications include a valid California medical license, active DEA registration, and preferably experience with eating disorders or behavioral health. Travel to both locations twice monthly is required. Strong communication, documentation skills, and professionalism are essential.

Compensation includes $250 per initial visit, $125 per follow-up, and a $1,500 monthly stipend per facility, with an expected 5-10 hours per week. This is an on-site role with no virtual work.
