Job Description
The Registered Nurse provides compassionate, individualized patient care utilizing the nursing process, while demonstrating adherence to organizational values: Sacred Trust, Personal Reverence, Thoughtful Anticipation, Team Accountability, and Creative Vitality.
Requires current RN licensure in New Mexico or multi-state license, BLS certification, and ongoing life support certifications. Responsibilities include maintaining clinical competency, following policies, supporting safety and quality initiatives, building interpersonal relationships, and participating in departmental activities. Follows Service Standards: Safety, Courtesy, Effectiveness, and Stewardship, with other duties as assigned. Physical demands include frequent walking, standing, lifting over 50 pounds, and potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids. Special demands involve managing interactions with potentially hostile patients and families, ensuring a safe environment, and balancing care for critically ill patients.
