We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker-A (LCSW-A) or Licensed Professional Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health counseling and be skilled in providing psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management services. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children and families, individuals with developmental disabilities, and those experiencing mental health challenges. The LCSW-A or LPC will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, outpatient therapy and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

*Responsibilities*

* Provide individual and group counseling to clients using various therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy.
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
* Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to engage clients in their treatment process.
* Facilitate crisis intervention services for clients in acute distress or facing immediate challenges.
* Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including intake forms, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective case management.
* Engage in clinical research activities as needed, including data collection and analysis related to patient outcomes.
* Provide home and community care services as necessary to support client needs outside of the clinical setting.
* Stay current with developments in the field of social work, mental health counseling, and related areas through ongoing professional development.

*Experience*

* Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution; current LCSW-A or LPC licensure required.
* Proven experience in psychotherapy, particularly with children and families; experience with pediatrics is a plus.
* Familiarity with EMR systems for managing patient records efficiently.
* Background in working with individuals facing PTSD, addiction issues, or developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and medical documentation practices is essential.
* Experience in behavioral therapy techniques such as applied behavior analysis is preferred.
* Previous hospital experience or work within a clinical setting is advantageous.
