Job Description

The Speech-Language Pathologist evaluates and treats residents, communicates with families, physicians, and health team members, and maintains documentation of services.

  • Conducts resident assessments and develops treatment plans for approval.
  • Provides therapy according to plans and screens residents as needed.
  • Performs tests on daily activities, cognition, motor skills, perception, and more.
  • Records billing charges and reports progress to the team.
  • Participates in discharge planning and staff training.
  • Supervises therapy staff and assists in hiring and performance evaluations.

    • Requirements: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with preferred two years’ experience.
