Job Description
The Speech-Language Pathologist evaluates and treats residents, communicates with families, physicians, and health team members, and maintains documentation of services.
Conducts resident assessments and develops treatment plans for approval. Provides therapy according to plans and screens residents as needed. Performs tests on daily activities, cognition, motor skills, perception, and more. Records billing charges and reports progress to the team. Participates in discharge planning and staff training. Supervises therapy staff and assists in hiring and performance evaluations. Requirements: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with preferred two years’ experience.
