Seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine MD for a 3-week locum position in Anchorage, AK, starting ASAP. The role involves hospital medicine at a local hospital with 18-22 patient encounters daily, working 12-hour shifts (days and nights), including a rotating call schedule without in-house call. Candidates must be flexible to work 7 consecutive shifts, ideally 2 weeks per month, and have EPIC EMR experience. No procedures or ICU coverage required. Temporary privileges are possible, and licensure in Alaska is preferred but not mandatory. The position offers competitive weekly pay, travel and lodging if needed, malpractice coverage, and 24/7 support. The assignment continues into 2026 with ongoing coverage needed.
