This Clinical Nurse role involves providing competent, patient-centered care in a hospital setting, following professional standards.

Participate in patient education, assess learning needs, and promote understanding for patients and families.

Evaluate care outcomes, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and communicate effectively for continuity of care.

Perform bedside testing, organize care prioritizing patient needs, and consult resources for complex cases.

Assist in setting professional growth goals, support unit objectives, and promote a safe hospital environment.

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, anticipate discharge needs, and build relationships with families.

Collaborate with patients and families in care planning, considering cultural factors, and prioritize tasks for complex cases.

Engage in research, stay informed on best practices, and bring ideas for quality improvement.

Requirements include graduation from a professional nursing program, North Carolina RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least one year of nursing experience. This full-time, onsite night shift position offers 36 hours weekly in a hospital setting.
