Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner to join a growing GI practice in Macon, GA, specializing in adult Gastroenterology and endoscopy.
Provides high-quality clinical care in office/hospital settings, assisting physicians with examinations and procedures.
Reviews medical records, administers medications, orders and evaluates diagnostic tests, and develops treatment plans.
Instructs patients and families on medications and health management, performs history and physical exams, and promotes illness prevention.
Ensures departmental compliance with regulations and completes required competencies.
Works independently or collaboratively, demonstrating strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, an active APRN license in Georgia, and BLS certification. The role offers full-time hours with benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and a flexible schedule.
