*Position Overview:*
We are seeking an experienced *Interventional Cardiologist* to provide *weekend coverage* (1:4) for hospital-based interventional services. The ideal candidate is board-certified/board-eligible, highly skilled in interventional procedures, and comfortable working independently while ensuring exceptional patient outcomes.
*Responsibilities:*
* Provide weekend call and procedural coverage as assigned (typically Friday – Sunday evening).
* Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
* Evaluate and manage acute cardiac patients in inpatient and procedural settings.
* Collaborate with hospital staff and other members of the cardiovascular team to ensure continuity of care.
* Document all clinical activities accurately and timely per hospital and practice standards.
*Qualifications:*
* Board Certified/Eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
* Active and unrestricted medical license in Texas.
* Current hospital privileges or eligibility for credentialing.
* Minimum of [2–5] years of interventional cardiology experience preferred.
* Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and procedural skills.
*Compensation & Schedule:*
* Competitive weekend coverage rate (commensurate with experience).
* Flexible weekend schedule (Friday evening through Sunday, as arranged).
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $1,000.00 – $1,500.00 per day
