Job Description
The Speech Language Pathologist plans and implements individualized treatment programs for clients, focusing on speech, receptive and expressive language, and safe swallowing.
Conducts evaluations, develops goals, and adjusts therapy as needed.
Provides therapy to restore or develop communication and swallowing functions using exercises and modalities.
Instructs clients, families, and team members on treatment procedures and adaptive equipment.
Monitors progress, documents care accurately, and communicates with physicians and care teams.
Assesses needs for adaptive equipment and modifies home environments for safety.
Coordinates care, participates in staff training, and adheres to regulatory and documentation standards.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree, two years of experience, CCC certification, and valid driver’s license.
