Speech Therapist ($5,000 Sign-On Bonus)

Job Description

This exempt position offers a starting salary of $80,089, commensurate with experience.

Position Summary: Responsible for daily operations of the Speech/Language Pathology Department and related community programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

Meet communication needs of patients with speech, language, cognitive, or hearing disorders.

Assess swallowing for dysphagia patients.

Provide direct patient care, evaluations, documentation, and supervise rehabilitation staff.

Participate in performance improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

Master’s in Speech and Language Pathology, ASHA certification, Oklahoma licensure.

Experience with adults, neurorehabilitation, and dysphagia preferred.

Knowledge of neurogenic disorders, rehab, and behavior management advantageous.

Physical Requirements: Ability to read, write, sit/stand long periods, walk long distances, and lift at least 65 lbs.
