Speech Therapist ($5,000 Sign-On Bonus)

Job Description

This is an exempt position with a starting salary of $80,089, commensurate with experience.

Position Summary: Responsible for managing the daily operations of the Speech/Language Pathology Department and related community programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

Address communication needs of patients with speech, language, cognitive, or hearing disorders

Assess swallowing function for dysphagia patients

Provide direct patient care, evaluations, documentation, and supervise rehabilitation staff

Participate in performance improvement initiatives

Qualifications include a Master’s degree, certification, licensure, experience in neurorehabilitation, and skills in neurogenic communication disorders and dysphagia (preferred).

Physical requirements involve reading, standing, walking, and lifting up to 65 lbs.
