The Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP), supervised by the Director of Nursing, provides specialized wound care services to patients in home, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.

  • They perform assessments, develop care plans, and manage treatment for complex wounds, pressure injuries, and surgical wounds.
  • Responsibilities include patient education, supervising staff, documenting care, and collaborating with healthcare teams.
  • Must hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, be licensed as an NP, and obtain Wound Care Certification within 6 months.
  • Requires minimum 2 years of relevant experience, physical stamina, and reliable transportation for travel.
