Job Description
The Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP), supervised by the Director of Nursing, provides specialized wound care services to patients in home, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
They perform assessments, develop care plans, and manage treatment for complex wounds, pressure injuries, and surgical wounds.
Responsibilities include patient education, supervising staff, documenting care, and collaborating with healthcare teams.
Must hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, be licensed as an NP, and obtain Wound Care Certification within 6 months.
Requires minimum 2 years of relevant experience, physical stamina, and reliable transportation for travel.
Position involves fieldwork with exposure to biohazards, requiring adherence to safety protocols.
