Job Description
The Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP), supervised by the Director of Nursing, provides specialized wound care services in home, nursing home, and assisted living settings.
They perform assessments, develop care plans, and educate patients and caregivers to promote healing.
Qualifications include a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, current NP licensure, and wound care certification within 6 months of hire.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience and active patient contact preferred.
This field-based role requires travel, physical endurance, and adherence to safety protocols, including exposure to biohazards.
Responsibilities involve wound assessment, treatment, supervision of staff, documentation, and collaboration with healthcare teams.
