Behavioral Health Therapist LISW/LMHC

Job Description

We are seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor/Therapist to provide services for children and adults.

• Conduct psychosocial assessments of patients and families to identify strengths and challenges related to their diagnosis and life situations.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing clinical social work interventions, including crisis, individual, marital, or family therapy.
• Offer therapeutic crisis intervention and emergency services as needed.
• Participate in team conferences, collaborate with internal/external members, and develop therapy programs to benefit patients.
• Maintain detailed case records and provide education to patients and families about adaptation and treatment.
• Liaise with community resources and provide consultative support to healthcare team members.
• Ensure documentation complies with organizational and legal standards, maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Behavioral Science or related field and licensure (LMHC, tLMHC, LMSW, or LISW) in Iowa. Some travel may be required, and the position is in-person.
