Job Description

*FOR A LIMITED TIME, OFFERING $7,500 SIGN-ON BONUS FOR FULL-TIME SLP!*

*Responsibilities:*
– Provide speech therapy services to patients in LTC
– Conduct patient assessments to determine speech therapy needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
– Administer therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure effective treatment outcomes
– Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies for continued progress
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
– Stay current with advancements in speech therapy techniques and research

*Requirements:*
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
– Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
– Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech, language, and swallowing disorders
– Familiarity with medical terminology used in an LTC setting
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
– Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
– Excellent organizational and time management skills for efficient case management
