Job Description
Seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care, including diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and patient education for diverse populations at a community health center.
Responsibilities include conducting patient interviews, developing treatment plans, maintaining medical records, coordinating referrals, and collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure quality care.
Must recognize high-risk patients, adhere to policies, and participate in quality improvement and staff meetings. Additional duties may involve special projects to enhance clinical services.
Qualifications include a valid FNP license in California, a degree from an accredited program, current BCLS, DEA, and NPI registrations, and a valid driver’s license. Preferred experience includes 2-4 years in outpatient settings, ACLS/PALS certifications, and familiarity with accreditation standards.
Ideal candidates possess excellent communication skills, independence, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work in a team. Knowledge of Indian health regulations and community needs is advantageous.
