Seeking a Nurse Practitioner for Urgent Care in Roanoke Rapids, NC. This locum tenens position offers competitive weekly pay and immediate start, ongoing.

Outpatient setting with all ages, 6 months and up

Patient volume averages 20-40 per shift depending on location

Must be able to see and treat patients independently, perform minor procedures like I&D, ear irrigation, and lac repairs

Support staff includes center managers, MAs, and offsite supervising physicians

EMR system: Epic (training provided)

Requires NC license, BLS, at least 1 year experience, and BC

Preferred: DOT, PALS/ACLS

No travel, lodging, or malpractice covered, but coverage for mileage

The role involves providing clinical care, with shift schedules to be determined, at multiple outpatient facilities within a 65-mile radius of the candidate’s residence.
