The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) at Villa de Matel provides routine care to Sisters, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), maintaining a clean and safe environment, and supporting spiritual and social activities. The CNA collaborates with staff, observes and reports health data, and uses communication, infection control, and safety techniques. They must uphold confidentiality, respect Sisters’ preferences, and follow policies. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, current Texas CNA certification, BLS certification, and preferably gerontology experience.
