Job Description
We are hiring a Part-Time Psychiatrist (8 hours/week) to oversee mental health services at a correctional facility in Ukiah, CA.
Payrate ranges from $261.25 – $275.00/hour.Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and evidence-based treatments.Respond to mental health crises, oversee screenings, and support patient rehabilitation and transition back into the community.Collaborate with correctional staff and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.Qualifications include an active unrestricted license, DEA registration, ABPN certification, and experience with underserved populations.Strong communication, data analysis skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality are required.Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing CPR.Benefits include health insurance, 401K, tuition assistance, paid time off, free CEUs, and career growth opportunities.
