Job Description
Seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with a background in neuro-trauma, neuro-critical care, or neurosurgery for a critical care role in California.
Responsibilities include inpatient management of 15–20 ICU patients in a Level II Trauma Center, focusing on neuro-trauma cases. This position involves managing low to moderate-risk procedures such as laceration repairs, IV access, and fracture reductions, as well as high-risk procedures like G-tube placement, intubation, cardioversion, and line placements.
The shift is days, 10 hours, with no call, scheduled on various dates throughout the year.
Requirements include an active CA license, board certification, ACLS, ATLS, and DEA.
Compensation is competitive, with weekly pay. The role offers an opportunity to work in a busy neuro-critical care setting without assisting in surgery.
