Job Description
Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will work in collaboration with the physician(s) in the hospital-based, outpatient setting with patients who have chronic pain. They will require a high level of independent clinical decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
No nights. No call. No holidays. No weekends.
Job type: full-time, 5 days, 8-hour shifts, permanent
Work locations: Clare, MI & Midland, MI (both locations required)
*Job Responsibilities*
* Work autonomously in a hospital-based outpatient pain clinic
* See a mix of new patients and established patients with chronic pain in a fast-paced environment
* Order procedures for collaborating physician
* Conservative medication management while utilizing drug screens, pill counts, etc.
* Participate in marketing events (lunch & learns, med staff meetings, etc.)
*Minimum Qualifications*
* Highly motivated and team oriented
* Safe, balanced, and patient focused approach to pain management
* Graduated from an accredited NP/PA program
* Certification from a national certifying body (ANCC, AANP, etc…)
* Requires full prescriptive authority upon employment
* Current DEA / DEA eligible in the state of Michigan
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $110,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
