Physician (Flight Surgeon)

Job Description

Seeking an Aerospace Medicine Specialist Physician (Flight Surgeon) to provide clinical and operational support at various AETC bases and locations.

Perform duties including patient care in flight and operational medicine clinics, aerospace medicine evaluations, waivers, profiles, and reviews in compliance with military standards.

Support aerospace medicine operations, education, and program compliance across multiple bases.

Review medical cases, coordinate with civilian and military providers, and support risk assessments and waiver processes.

Provide consultation on public health, emergency plans, and operational medicine programs.

Qualifications: MD or DO with active, unrestricted license, board certification (preferably in Aerospace Medicine), 5+ years in aerospace medicine and flight operations, extensive knowledge of military medical standards, and experience managing aerospace medicine programs. Must have ACLS, BLS, and relevant military medical experience. Willingness to travel (~25%) and work at Enid, OK.
