Seeking an energetic RN Unit Coordinator for a full-time M-F role in Highland, NY.
Lead and manage unit staff, ensuring high-quality resident care and adherence to policies. Supervise daily operations, conduct rounds, and act as role model for staff. Develop and update individualized care plans, participate in interdisciplinary team efforts. Assess residents at admission, readmission, and when needed, communicating effectively with families and medical professionals. Ensure accurate documentation, medication administration, and compliance with regulations. Handle emergency situations, participate in meetings, and assume supervisory duties on rotation. Qualifications include active NYS RN license, 2+ years supervisory experience, CPR certification, and proficiency in care planning, IV insertion, lab draws, and EMR systems.
