Position Overview
One of our Partners, is seeking a Board-Certified Radiologist with a full diagnostic and interventional skill set to provide on-site coverage at a 320-bed acute care hospital in Wichita Falls, Texas.
This assignment offers a balanced mix of mammography, general diagnostic imaging, and interventional procedures, supported by experienced radiology physician assistants and technologists. The ideal candidate is versatile across modalities, comfortable performing routine image-guided procedures, and enjoys a collaborative, community-hospital environment.
Assignment Highlights

Modality Mix: Mammography, general diagnostic radiology, and interventional radiology

Daily Volume: ~50 screening mammograms + up to 9 diagnostic mammograms, plus CT, ultrasound, ER/inpatient, and general reads

Procedures: Lung, liver, and bone biopsies; occasional nephrostomy and cholecystostomy; supervision of paracentesis and thoracentesis performed by radiology PAs

Systems: Epic EMR | Merge PACS | Nuance Dragon voice recognition

Support: Dedicated radiology PAs and technologists on-site

Setting: 320-bed acute care hospital | On-site only

Skills & Experience

Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR or AOBR) required

Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology preferred but not required

Active Texas Medical License — IMLC candidates welcome under Texas Board participation

Proficiency in mammography, diagnostic imaging, and routine interventional procedures

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Job Responsibilities

Interpret high-volume screening and diagnostic mammography exams

Perform image-guided procedures and biopsies as scheduled

Provide timely reads for general radiology studies, including CT, US, and ER/inpatient films

Supervise fluoroscopy, paracentesis, and thoracentesis performed by radiology PAs

Maintain accuracy, efficiency, and quality standards across modalities
