As a patient-focused Gastroenterology group, who has been in practice for over 40 years, our goal is to enhance the health and well-being of people through patient care and education. We are in search of a *Nurse Practitioner *who can perform in a high volume and fast paced environment, one who will enhance our mission, care for our patients and help grow our practice.

*WORK RESPONSIBILITIES:*

* Perform assessments and provide treatment to patients of the clinic.
* Keep scheduled hours for extended clinic coverage during days and evenings. Work hours to remain flexible according to the needs of clinic expansion.
* Meet or exceed productivity requirements as set forth by the Executive Leadership Team.
* Develop and maintain clinical diagnostic and treatment protocols for patient treatment.
* Remain available by phone during regularly schedule hours should assistance be required.
* Assist in the review and development of patient education material.
* Assist in developing and maintaining a program for clinical quality assurance.
* Attend staff meetings and committees as directed and punctually.
* Other Duties as assigned.

*EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:*

* Current license with the state of California.

*WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:*

* Bilingual English/Spanish speaking required.
* Must has at least 1-2 years GI experience.
* Uphold the Code of Ethics of their professional licensing entity.
* Must complete the minimum hours of continuing education to maintain professional license.
* Must maintain good standing with professional licensing board.
* Must demonstrate cultural competency and sensitivity to all populations served.
* Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and management alike.
* Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
* Ability to remain calm under stressful conditions.
