Registered Nurse (RN) On Call

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified RN to provide on-call nursing services for residents with developmental disabilities or mental illness in group homes.

Promote person-centered care, ensuring resident satisfaction and safety.

Conduct assessments, oversee health needs, administer medications, and coordinate medical services.

Maintain accurate medical documentation, review compliance, and ensure regulatory standards are met.

Respond promptly to on-call emergencies, providing onsite care within 24 hours.

Train staff on health and safety topics, including medication administration.

Qualifications include an Illinois RN license, DHS Nurse Trainer certification (or within 2 months), at least 1 year of RN experience, and proficiency with MS Office. Must pass background checks, hold a valid driver’s license, and be 21+.

This on-call role offers $37.85/hour in Alton, Illinois, with shift hours from 3:00 pm to 7:00 am, Monday–Friday, plus weekends and holidays.
