The Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa is seeking a full or part time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Certified to join the growing Department of ENT. This is an opportunity to join a team of experienced physicians and staff dedicated to providing high quality care to our patients.
This Provider will provide services by performing the following duties:
Perform medical examinations and evaluations, diagnose, provide treatment, follow-up and patient education.
Obtain patient histories, develop and complete patient assessment and documentation with completeness and accuracy.
Provide initial evaluations on non-surgical patients and follow-up and postoperative care in conjunction with our board-certified physicians
Perform minor in-office procedures.
Provide health education to patients and families and communicate to community health practitioners and referring physicians.
Practice safety, environmental, and/ or infection control methods.
Qualifications:
Current, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) license or Physician Assistant license
Prefer six months to one year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified above.
Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practice and clinical guidelines
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills
Proficiency (or ability to become proficient) in EMR and related computer systems.
Commitment to patient care and teamwork.
Excellent communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and maintaining confidentiality.
Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
CPR Certified or must obtain within six months of employment.
