Job Description
The Speech Language Pathologist conducts assessments, screenings, and treatments for speech, language, swallowing, and hearing across all age groups.
Demonstrates expertise in language development, assessment, and interventions, providing appropriate classroom and home adaptations.
Prepares and implements individual and group therapy sessions aligned with children’s IEPs and classroom goals.
Ensures inclusive programming and supports children in achieving independence and social-emotional growth.
Travels to community sites for services, evaluations, and early intervention treatments.
Maintains accurate documentation, manages billing, and submits Medicaid forms timely.
Collaborates with staff, parents, and support teams, providing training and participating in meetings and committees.
Assists with transitioning children to new environments and recommends adaptations for classroom and home use.
Provides supervision for CFY candidates, offers service coordination, and participates in community and agency events.
Performs other duties as needed, fostering a team-oriented environment.
