Job Description
Seeking an OR Nurse Supervisor in the Suffolk area to oversee surgical teams including RNs, Scrub Techs, Rad Techs, and Assistants across specialties like Ortho, OB/GYN, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, and ENT.
Responsibilities include staff scheduling, medication management, clinical staff education, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team. Most procedures involve general anesthesia or sedation.
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 4 years of OR circulating nurse experience in acute care or ASC; at least 2 years of nursing supervision in OR, ICU, or ER. PREFERRED: 4+ years as OR supervisor, experience in Orthopedic, OB/GYN, ENT, Pain Management procedures, EMR familiarity, CNOR certification, BSN (or significant experience with a 2-year program).
REQUIREMENTS: VA RN license, ACLS/PALS, full-time with benefits, no call, nights, weekends, or holidays. Additional skills include leadership, communication, organization, and SPD collaboration.
Compensation ranges from $43.27 to $46.40/hour, with comprehensive benefits including 401(k), health savings, tuition reimbursement, and more.
Schedule options include 8- and 10-hour shifts. Applicants should have OR circulation experience in a hospital or ASC setting and hold an RN license.
