Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team as a traveling provider, covering locations such as Uvalde, Del Rio, Eagle Pass, Kingsville, and Corpus Christi.
Provide comprehensive assessments and develop individualized wound care plans for patients with acute and chronic wounds.
Perform wound procedures including debridement, dressing changes, and skin graft application.
Monitor vital signs, identify complications, and educate patients and families on wound management and prevention.
Accurately document patient interactions using ICD-10 coding.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and stay current with best practices through ongoing professional development.
Must be willing to travel, with mileage and overnight expenses reimbursed.
Preferred experience includes wound assessment, proficiency in coding, and background in adult practice, home health, LTC, or dementia care.
The role offers a full-time position with a salary starting at $175,000 annually.
